The store was officially opened by G-Star’s forthcoming campaign face, American actor Caleb Landry Jones and English singer-songwriter Anna Calvi.
Star of X-Men: First Class and Antiviral, Caleb will feature in the Autumn/ Winter 2012 campaign shot by photographer Anton Corbijn.
The opening of the new G-Star store was attended by DJ Jean-Benoît Dunckel, part of the electronica duo Air and electro pop band Tomorrow’s World, who gave an in-store performance.
Other guests of the opening ceremony were: Lou Lesage, Beatrice Rosen, Delphine Chaneac, Shirley Bousquet, Christophe Barratier and Aurelien Wiik.
The new G-Star flagship store in Cannes is a continuation of the brand’s global expansion. Recently opened flagship store locations include: Rodeo Drive in Beverly Hills, Causeway Bay in Hong Kong and Ginza in Tokyo.
