Well said Carrie Bradshaw. And with the launch of Fashion Palette New York, ten specially selected Australian and New Zealand designers will have the chance to fall in love with New York while showcasing their SS12/13 collections in some of the Big Apple’s most well connected showrooms.

The annual platform will take place (Sept. 3-12) during New York fashion season, which attracts over 100,000 industry insiders from more than 32 countries to the City That Never Sleeps.

Accepted designers will be given the opportunity to showcase their designs to a collection of New York’s most elite fashion brands, organisations, PR teams and show rooms. The designers will also be supported by an extensive network of industry connections.

After all, the fashion industry is all about who you know, not what you know.
