Elliatt takes Winter dressing to a whole new level with their debut Outerwear collection designed to compliment any winter wardrobe. Sparked by the demand for more knitwear and heavier pieces for her Victorian clients, Elliatt designer Katie Pratt decided to broaden the audience, and create a stand-alone collection applicable to all Australians.
With an Alpine skiing holiday theme, an homage to luxe European Chalet trends, it sees the introduction of eclectic transeasonal lightweight pieces and layering options with a fun Winter Wonderland twist, perfect for cooler climates.
Colourful faux-Angora knits and patterned velvet leggings, snowflake-inspired embellishments, winter shorts, maxi skirts, and crepe dresses work effortlessly back with a mix of sophisticated textured dress-jackets, chunky cardigans and plush rabbit-fur capes.
Winter-bright hues of warm orange, citrine, blush and terracotta pop against natural shades of oatmeal, grey, black and speckled olive, giving just the right amount of youthful exuberance, while the tailored feminine silhouettes form a more sophisticated impression.
Elliatt’s AW 2012 Outerwear Collection is light and transeasonal fun winter fashion, with an acutely wearable appeal that transcends from Autumn to Winter, right into early Spring. Available in April 2012.
